Scott began his investment industry career in St. Louis, Missouri, in 1998 after serving as a journalist in the U.S. Marine Corps. While in college, he interned with A.G. Edwards and joined the firm upon graduation. He worked as a Bond Trader and in other home office roles before becoming a Financial Advisor and later a Branch Manager, until the company’s acquisition by Wachovia Securities and, subsequently, Wells Fargo Advisors. He joined Stifel in 2010 upon the opening of the Port Huron, Michigan, office as Branch Manager and First Vice President/Investments. In 2019, he founded Optimus Financial and transitioned to Stifel Independent Advisors (formerly Century Securities Associates), a Stifel affiliate.
Scott earned a B.S. in Business Administration from Saint Louis University and went on to attain an MBA at Washington University in St. Louis. He holds the Accredited Asset Management Specialist™ designation from the College for Financial Planning.
Active in his community, Scott is on the board of directors for the International Symphony Orchestra and was a former treasurer for the Wills Sainte Claire Auto Museum and Port Huron Museum.
Scott grew up in St. Louis, but now lives in Marysville, Michigan, with his wife, Amy. They enjoy reading, gardening, cooking, and spending time with family and friends.

Will began his investment industry career in 2016 with Stifel, working at the firm’s home office in St. Louis, Missouri, for nearly three years. He then moved to Atlanta, Georgia, to pursue a career in Corporate and Investment Banking with SunTrust Securities before transitioning to Optimus Financial.
Will earned a B.S. in Sports Management from Fontbonne University and holds Series 7 and 66 securities licenses, as well as life, health, and variable insurance licenses (including annuities). In addition, Will earned the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® certification in 2025, which identifies those individuals who have passed the CFP® Certification Examination covering the following areas: the financial planning process, risk management, investments, tax planning and management, retirement and employee benefits, and estate planning. He draws on this knowledge to help his clients navigate the wealth planning process, listening to their goals and developing a highly customized plan tailored to their desired financial future and lifestyle.
Active in his community, Will is a parishioner at St. Peter Chanel Catholic Church, where he is also a member of the Knights of Columbus Council #13217. He uses some of his free time coaching his daughters in sports and has volunteered at GiGi’s Playhouse, an organization that tries to impact the lives of individuals living with Down Syndrome. Will married his wife, Arielle, in 2019. They live in Atlanta with their three daughters, Emersyn, Wynsley, and Millie. Outside the office, Will enjoys golfing, traveling, cooking, trying new restaurants, exercising, and spending time with his family.
